Telnet printing and linefeeds?

» close window

The Question is:

Why is my ucx$telnetsym based queue dropping all linefeeds? I am changing
my LAT based 90TL servers to be TCP/IP based so that I can route that
traffic. I have set my queue up, like my other telnet queues that are
hooked to laser printers and working fi
ne, but this queue simply removes the linefeeds and causes the entire print
job to print on one line. I have connected to the 90TL and done a test for
that port and it works fine. Help!!!

The Answer is :

Please see topic 1020 for a variety of related information on configuring
blank pages, flag pages, linefeeds, and a variety of other topics. Also
please see 1045, 1862, 1143, 1781, and other topics here.

If unable to resolve this from these discussions and from the TCP/IP
Services documentation, please contact the Compaq Customer Support
Center directly. In the case of OpenVMS Alpha V6.2, you will want to
be using TCP/IP Services V4.2 plus the current ECO, or upgrade to the
OpenVMS Alpha V7.1 (V7.1-2 is better) or later release, and to the
associated TCP/IP Services V5.0A or later release.
