VAXstation 4000 model 60 console NVR WRTERR?

The Question is:

 
I have a VAXstation 4000 Model 60 that displays the following message on the
 top of the screen:
 
 
?3C NVR WRTERR
 
 
What is wrong with the system?
 

The Answer is :

 
  A non-volatile RAM write error occured -- this is a battery-backed
  area containing stored information and the TOY clock.  As indicated
  by the single question mark, this is probably a non-fatal error.
 
  Contact your hardware service organization, or -- if you wish to
  maintain your own hardware -- please consider acquiring information
  on the Compaq Assisted Services (CAS) program.  Pointers to CAS
