The Question is:
One of Alpha workstations AS 600 5/333
at our department fails to boot the console.
At the time the boot process has blocked,
the LCD display reads 'SROM 1.2 f4'.
I suppose that f4 represents the
diagnostic code, and would like
to know its meaning.
I would also like to know whether there are
online resources for this platform since
the computers have been donated by Compaq
without any documentation.
