IP programming; API for DNS/BIND?

The Question is:

 
with UCX (V5.0A or upper), I would like to write a program that is equivalent
 to a "ucx show host 1.2.3.4/server=myDNSserver" command.
 
How to specify the DNS server name with the $QIO interface ?

  So you wish to issue DNS/BIND queries from within an application?
  Information on using the Berkeley Internet Name Domain Service (BIND)
  is included in the TCP/IP Services programming documentation, and
